Description: Camponotus nicobarensis are known as carpenter ants due to being found nesting in wood. They are an extremely popular amongst ant keepers and are a fast-growing species. They are an active species but mainly nocturnal and will eat high amounts of protein. They have a unique trait in which they can tap their feet in the face of danger to alert nearby ants which can be heard with our own ears and is really interesting to witness. These girls grow very fast and large which is why i don't personally promote selling multiple queens. As someone who has kept this species before... One queen is more than enough to raise a HUGE kingdom.
