Description: Camponotus nicobarensis are known as carpenter ants due to being found nesting in wood. They are an extremely popular and a fast-growing species. They are an active species but mainly nocturnal and will eat high amounts of protein. They have a unique trait in which they tap which can be heard with our ears and is really interesting to witness.
