All orders within the U.K are sent by Royal Maill. There are two shipping choices available at the checkout, both Tracked 24 and Next Day Delivery. All orders are sent the same day when placed before 12 PM on MON-FRI unless stated differently at the top of the website's home page. On particularly busy days with a lot of orders, your order may be subject to a 1-day dispatch delay. I do not post orders on SAT-SUN as this prevents the ants from being stuck in the sorting office over weekends. Once your order has been posted, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.

Some species are more sensitive and will only be eligible to be sent with Royal Mail Next Day Delivery by 1 PM to ensure they reach you nice and healthy. Both delivery options may still be available at checkout but the price of them will be the same, meaning that they will be sent with the fastest option no matter the choice you select. You'll be notified if said species are sent with Next Day Delivery in the description of the product. Please make sure you're home to sign for your parcel, failing to do so will void the alive upon arrival guarantee as they will have to spend the night at the sorting office if not slipped through your letter box or left at a safe place.

During winter, exotic species dispatch times can be delayed due to overnight cold temps. If this is the case then it will state so at the top of the home page. I may also give you the option of paying an extra small fee for shipping so I can provide a heat pack to ensure they survive the cold temps but this is completely optional. This is all to ensure you receive a healthy Queen or colony!
