This 4 type seed mix is favoured by mature colonies of Messor. A good variety is very important for a harvester ant colonie health! From small seeds to large seeds, it will no doubt contain something your colony will love! This mix is more suitable for a larger messor colony that are now producing majors. This will allow the larger seeds to be accessible via the larger mandibles of the major.
 
This is the seed mix I use to raise my personal colony of my messor. As seeds are about 80% of the harvester ants diet, its important to give them access to a variety of seeds. This seeds mix can be feed along side the chia seed mix too.
